We will be in the Philippines from July 5th – August 30th this year. We have both been blessed to be able to take a 2 month leave of absence from our jobs to start getting things set-up in there and do a lot of ministry activities. While we are there we have 5 children’s homes we are planning to visit. We are planning to do several outreaches to some less fortunate areas. We will also be working on our paperwork with the dswd. I am also hoping to speak in several churches while we are there. That is currently in the works. We are planning to visit the cities of Baguio, Olongapo, Castillejos, Manila, Laguna, and Dagupan.

We have approximately 400+ backpacks and school bags, and other items that we will be shipping next week. We have also purchased several hundred reams of paper. All the other school supplies we will buy in the Philippines due to the lower cost for those there.

The children we come in contact with are always excited to receive a brand new backpack and school supplies. At the same time we will also feed them. Doing these outreaches is an open door to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these children and they are given an opportunity to receive Him into their lives. Often times this is the first time the children have heard the Gospel. Another great thing about this is that wherever children are there are always adults close by who will also be fed and hear the Gospel presented.

We are really looking forward to this trip and expecting great things as a result of it.
