   Give Hope International is currently in the process of raising funds to further this ministry. We have 3 acres of land that was donated to us in June in Baguio City that will be used for the children's home and church. We are raising funds for the construction of the buildings. As soon as this amount is raised we will begin construction and start taking in children off the streets. We will rent a temporary residence as the buildings are being built. The residence we rent will be used for our temporary children's home until construction is complete.

   The land that is donated is a prime location for this ministry. The 3 acres are great for the children to run and play and far enough out of the city to be free from pollution and smog.

   Our goal is to be able to get this ministry fully operational by January 2010, which is only 14 months away, so we need all the help we can get. Our next trip to the Philippines will be around March or April 2009. We will be meeting again with the property owners and take care of any additional requirements. We will also be meeting with our social worker and our friends from Heart for Asia Ministries. This will be a very busy trip but we will also take time out to do some ministry outreaches in the poorer areas along with members of our staff who have joined our ministry in the past few months.

   We have a set amount of money needed to get started and even though our target date is Jan 2010, if we are able to get the necessary funds prior to this date we will leave earlier. With God all things are possible.

   Any donation given to this ministry will only be used for ministry purposes. By donating to this ministry you are not supporting our personal expenses. Any donation will go directly to the ministry costs which includes only ministry related needs and activities.
